    Windsor Jewelers is founded by Paul Lubetsky in New York City, buying and selling estate and antique jewelry.

    Windsor hosts a large buying event in Korea, taking the business international and growing their expertise beyond American and European designers.

    Windsor hosts a series of record-breaking buying events across the US with Bloomingdale’s, establishing Windsor as a market leader in estate jewelry buying.

    Windsor Jewelers outgrows their original two-room, 500 square foot 47th Street office, moving into 608 5th Avenue, creating space to grow the business and team.

    Windsor purchases a significant natural pearl necklace formerly owned by the Queen of Sweden.

  • 2004

    Windsor acquires excess inventory from Harry Winston, including the ruby red slippers created with over 4,600 gemstones to commemorate the 50th anniversary of The Wizard of Oz.

    Windsor adds a new avenue to the business, acquiring the entire US inventory of FRED Paris, one of the most iconic everyday jewelers of the mid-20th century. This begins Windsor’s closeouts department, taking the business in a new direction.

    Windsor Jewelers acquires its first large scale designer buyout of excess inventory through Bulgari.

    Windsor purchases the Fred Leighton bankruptcy with partners. The largest purchase of fine estate, antique and signed jewelry to date. Incredible Fred Leighton jewelry is showcased in the film Marie Antoinette.

    Windsor purchases the entire inventory of Henry Dunay, one of the finest US designers of jewelry.

    Windsor purchases the Arcot ll Diamond, previously owned by King George ll in the mid-18th century. The 17.21 carat, internally flawless Golconda diamond is among the most famous gemstones in the world.

    Windsor acquires the celebrity favorite brand Marina B. Founded in 1970, Marina Bulgari became one of the finest designers of jewelry and a red carpet mainstay.

    Windsor buys the Shirley Temple Diamond, a 9.54 carat VVS2 blue diamond, one of the rarest pieces owned by the beloved Hollywood icon.

    Outgrowing their previous office, Windsor Jewelers resides on the entire 32nd floor of one of the most beautiful and prestigious Art Deco landmark buildings in New York, the Fred F. French building on 5th Avenue. The office provides sweeping views of Manhattan and a private showroom for clients.

    Windsor acquires an impressive Harry Winston suite originally commissioned by Middle Eastern Royalty. The suite featured Winston’s iconic wreath design with nearly 300 carats of impeccable diamonds including a choker drop necklace, cluster earrings with 5+ carat center diamonds, and matching watch and bracelet.

Avi’s journey into fine jewelry began by chance as a teenager, helping at an antique jewelry store on Bond Street, London. Captivated by the craftsmanship and artistry of European antique jewels, this spark ignited a lifelong passion. Over 25 years, he has worked across Europe, Asia, and the Americas with prestigious brands and manufacturers, gaining expertise in high design and quality production. Avi’s experience spans sourcing, cutting, and marketing diamonds and gems, both rough and polished. His passion for discovery, learning, and collaboration remains as strong as ever.

Allison Richman is a sales and acquisitions specialist with 15 years of working in the fine jewelry and estate markets. Andrew Hellerick’s career in classical ballet and luxury goods have led him to his current role in Sales & Acquisitions at Windsor Jewelers. The beauty and poetry of dance and jewelry are linked through time and history, which drew him at a very young age to exquisite jewels. As a GIA Diamonds Graduate, Andrew enjoys procuring the best stones for his clients, focusing on beauty, value, and investment. Andrew is committed to a bespoke approach in building diverse collections by sourcing rare, signed and estate pieces that become generational heirlooms.

Evelyn Robinson

ACQUISITIONS EXPERT

Evelyn’s background as a museum docent and in luxury retail has primed her for her role as an estate jewelry buyer within the Windsor Jewelers Acquisitions Department. With a double major in art history and economics, coupled with numerous GIA courses, Evelyn’s knowledge about jewelry ranging from antiquity to contemporary greatly informs Windsor’s buying decisions. After six years as Windsor’s Inventory Manager, Evelyn’s new role as Acquisition Specialist is paired with her graduation from the Appraisers Association of America’s Comprehensive Appraisal Studies Program. Post graduation Evelyn is now a USPAP compliant appraiser.

Alexandra de Prat i Pont

SALES COORDINATOR

With roots in Barcelona and London, Alexandra brings a global eye for design and detail to Windsor’s sales team. Before joining Windsor, she honed her expertise at Phillips Auction House, where she supported high-profile jewelry sales. Today, she combines her auction-house precision with a warm, client-focused approach to every transaction.

Soulhee Kim

OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Soulhee's background in industrial design laid a solid foundation on which her jewelry design and operational expertise has been built. Soulhee’s pivot into fine jewelry began with a fascination for high end jewels as exquisite objets d'art. Her tenures as Jeweler at Taffin and Jewelry Designer at Marina B exposed her to high-end jewelry crafted at the fingertips of true artisans. This synergy between a creative mind and the meticulous structural interpretation is what drives her detail-driven passion. While producing collections for various global companies, she managed her teams through effective communication and efficient operations. Her diverse experiences now lead the Operations and Production teams at Windsor Jewelers.

Michael Singer appraises and purchases jewelry estates. He gained his expertise in his youth, working for a three generation family business; specializing in jade, rare gemstones, and fine antique jewelry.
